Eat well

“You are what you eat.”

I do not remember the first time I heard or read it, but it struck me as a powerful truth. And eating is an area where we constantly make decisions. Powerful, life-impacting decisions.

Eating is more than fueling the body. It can be a significant part of socialization. The way we eat reflects the way we see ourselves, the way we were reared. It shows the respect we have for ourselves — or lack of it.

Older people have more choices than ever in our lives. We have the time to analyze our eating, to plan healthful menus, to prepare the food.

We will be sharing ideas and methods. Recipes and experience.
